Brianna is close to setting several ND records now held by Ruth Riley.

eclipsed in one season by multiple players?

Turner - Ogunbowale,Mabrey - Young
This has got to be one of the greatest recruitment streaks of all time.

It gets hard to worry too much about this prospect or that prospect. I got complete faith in Ms.Ivey.

Bri has been a blessing to Notre Dame. Her future is bright. *

Turner's elevated level of play the last third of the season

is the main reason this team has gone from very good/National Championship contender to elite/National Championship favorite.

Bri has always been a defensive difference-maker, but what she's been doing lately on the offensive end has made us unstoppable. Remember all of the turnovers we used to have as a result of low percentage lob passes forced down low? It's been about ten games since those complaints have been posted here because it rarely happens anymore. It's not happening because Bri has made herself an active part of the halfcourt offense, moving the ball and creating her own shots 8-12 feet away from the basket.

There's been a lot of praise for Jackie on this board, and rightfully so, but Bri's offensive adjustments have a lot to do with Jackie's recent success. Jackie now has room to drive and create, room which wasn't there when Bri was spending too much time down low waiting for lob passes.

Kudos to Bri, Muffet, Carol Owens, and whoever else figured this out. It may win us another title.

FT shooting improvement, too

and, more recently, the signs of a nice, little 8 foot faceup jumper

Drives to the hoop

were missing from Bri for most of the season and have reappeared with a vengeance of late, especially in the ACC tournament. Her confidence in those moves has also skyrocketed of late. The offense no longer stalls depending on who is in the high post as Bri can drive as can Jess and Jess can shoot from the elbow as well. And, as amply mentioned, the timing and passing between the two is pretty.

Solid Insights.

Agree with all of them. Here's one more observation: Bri's movement has also opened up the paint for Jess to plant her world-class seals down low, from time to time.

Their passing is elite for post players.

It might not even need the qualifier. Their passing between each has especially opened things up.
