I played a lot of sports in my younger days. I was both a starter and bench
warmer. I took me a lot of patience, hard work, and luck of the Irish
to rid me of the bench. I have a good idea what she is feeling. I was going
to be tougher than the coaches. I was going to prove them wrong. It hurts
a lot knowing you should be playing in front of the person that is
currently starting. Good things happen to those that have patience.

... I am hoping she will see what she will miss and the friendships that
she made will be stronger than what is pushing her out the door. I am
hoping time will be on our and her side. For I do believe she is making
a mistake. But I will support her final decision.

...Going to another school will not guarantee her the tools she will need
to get into pro ball. Same thing with the player went out to Oregon. I
did not see anything that would get her drafted in the WNBA.

Hopes and Prayers. Hopes and Prayers.

...Besides I would never put my wants ahead of the teams needs. Never.

P.S. I am hoping someone will sit down with her and give her good
advice and not what she wants to hear.
