Men’s rule committee has made the change. What is expected for women’s b-ball? Have not seen mention of this. Thank you.

the international line is fine - everyone should use it *

And 3 lines in pro arenas

I wish they would make the 3 point line the same for NCAA, International and NBA

Currently (before change) it was 20'-9" for NCAA
International 22'-1 3/4"
NBA 23'-9" (22' in the corners)

..for many of the reasons mentioned: keep distances uniform at as many levels as possible, less lines on courts (without a change, you'll see two lines in Purcell Paviliion next year).

SkinsHoops86 was thinking about this a tad last night:

"If this change comes to WBB in a couple of years, will this make zone and pack line defenses less effective, assuming shooting percentages stay similar? I could see a 1-2 year drop in 3pt% but think kids would adjust and it would go back to normal."

Dillon's druthers: If 3-pt. percentage adjusts to the further distance, defenders will have to step out to cover, which could lead to gaps in the middle of zones. Quick ball movement would be essential on offense, so ND will be well-served.

On the other end, need to have agile defenders...preferably with long arms to get to those spots.
