The United States defeated Canada, 87-37, to win the FIBA u16 Women's Americas Title in Aysen, Chile.

The U.S., Canada, Chile and Puerto Rico all qualified to the FIBA U17 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2020.

6'0" Guard Payton Verhulst (from Kansas) was named the most valuable player, averaging 13.8 points per game. She, 6'0" guard Sonia Citron (from Westchester, NY) and 6'7" center Lauren Betts (from Colorado) were named to the all tournament team. (See links below for full story and pictures)
