New Contact Period Allows Coaches To Leave Campus

From Sept. 9th until Sept. 29th, there is a CONTACT period for NCAA Women's Basketball, when it is permissible for authorized athletics department staff members to make in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts and evaluations. In addition, a college coach may have face-to-face contact with college-bound student-athletes or their parents on the college's campus.

ND coaches could possibly have home visits with remaining 2020 prospects,
in addition to seeing remaining various AAU tournaments and/or visiting high schools for all classes.

Official Visits Are Scheduled

High School seniors can take official visits (OV's) to college campuses. OV's are paid for by the college and an athlete can take up to five of them. As of this writing, ND has four OV's scheduled for the fall:
- Sept. 27-29 (UVA football weekend): Deja Kelly, Alasia Hayes.
(BTW, Raoul reports that Hayes took her first OV to Michigan this weekend.)
- Oct. 11-13 (USC football weekend): Caitlin Clark, Maddy Westbeld and Alli Campbell (a verbal commitment who has not taken an OV).
