She lost all five starters and six players from a great team the prior year (maybe why the former coach, a Marquette alum no less, was so willing to leave last Spring). Duffy began with five players from last year and six freshman. The freshman were recruited by the former coach, and the star recruit Shemera Williams (top 50 recruit) never got on campus as she went elsewhere after learning of the coaching change.

I have been keeping an eye on them to see how Megan is developing as a coach. She has done better than expected this year IMO. She plays 8-9 players regularly, four of which are freshmen. She seems to have taken up right where she left off from Miami OH. On track to win 20+ games and presumably make the NCAA (probable 9th seed right now on latest estimates).

Can she recruit? Signed four this year but none in the top 100. So she will have to excel with lower ranked recruits and build her reputation at least for now developing them.

She has to be on the radar if McGraw were to leave in the next 5 years. She seems to be developing well. No matter what, good to see a Domer doing well.
