Monica McNutt sure was rooting hard for Syracuse.

Wasn't she!! I could not believe how obvious she was.

Thought she may have been a Syracuse alumna, but she played for the Hoyas. Guess it was just anti-Irish bias. She needs to work on that.

Counterpoint: ND had given up a 16-point lead and ‘Cuse had

a 15-11 record (until today’s loss) and something actually to play for.

Monica was loving the Irish in the first half.

And, no, Sniezek did not hit the shooter’s elbow on that last-second 3 attempt. Monica was way off on that one.

That's the problem with our down year

We get the lousy announcers as well. Loved her claim that there was a foul at the end of the game when you could see on the replay that her follow through was uninterrupted and that she didn't complain at all about being fouled. Maybe not as bad as last game when Pam Oliver said Marta's "face got in the way" of the VT player but ridiculous nonetheless.

That's what I saw and heard as well. *

she said she was pretty sure the last SU/ND game was on a Thursday. Err, no.
