#24 - 2010-11 season
#11 - 2000-01 season

"Four of us at The Athletic went through the archives, old box scores and record books to compile a ranking of the 25 most dominant teams since the NCAA added women’s basketball under its governance in 1981 and the NCAA Tournament commenced in 1982. The exercise was made difficult by the lack of women’s college basketball historical information available online (you can’t just pull up Basketball Reference in this case), but we prevailed. These teams not only excelled at the sport but also contributed to its growth and popularity, so we took cultural factors into account, as well."
