The similarities between Erin Boley and Sam Brunelle are shocking.
• Both last names begin with ‘B’.
• Both are 6-2.
• Both are forwards.
• Both have killer 3-pt shots.
• Both had an average ranking of 6 out of HS (but I never found Boley’s ASGR ranking)
• Both played in both the McD and Jordan Classic games.
• Both were exceptional at the all star games. (Brunelle won the 3-pt shooting contest at the McDonald’s game and Boley won MVP at the Jordan game.)
• Both were on 3x3 US national teams.
• Both were national player of the year (Brunelle - HS Coaches Assn, Boley - Gatorade)
• Both played for Notre Dame.
• Both (perhaps) were class valedictorians (Brunelle was, last I heard Boley was in the running).
• Both were high school officers (Brunelle senior class president, Boley senior class vice-president)
• Both were high school homecoming queens.
• Both founded after school programs in high school.
