Not true. An enduring memory is the sight of anti-war protestors, led by the execrable Monk Malloy, parading around the field where ROTC graduates received their commissions. The assholes could not even allow the grads and their parents and other guests, many of whom had traveled long distances, to enjoy the day free from distraction and noise, not to mention to show respect for their ROTC classmates. There they were, shambling around in their sandals, carrying their pathetic signs, chanting.
