I don't think that we are willing to let Israel attack Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iran, along with the West Bank and Gaza. (Israel has peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan, so this is highly unlikely.) Lebanon is probably inevitable, once Hezzbollah gets involved.

While revenge against Hamas is on the menu, WWIII isn't. The US isn't going to provide cash and military aid so that Israel can attack the entire Middle East. It's simply not realistic.
