his staff. She was his successor when he left WMU after being his assistant there for three years in Kalamazoo. She was an all-conference player at MSU.

While Waldrum did have national connections, he had his go-to areas in the Midwest (Chicago, Ohio, Kansas City), Texas and was going to Long Island in the later years.

Coaches Romagnolo and Bocangegra went heavy with what they knew early on...California and other western areas (Colorado, someone from New Mexico)

With both current coaches having heavy Midwest connections, wonder if the focus will shift back to Waldrum Midwest areas, augmented by connections they build up, along with traditional Irish spots. Good news is that the next two years are virtually filled up already, so they have time.
