That wasn’t offside there near the end

I didn't see that offsides in highlights, at what minute? *

If that wasn’t offside, neither was Aguero on his goal.

It was a great game, apart from Kepa losing his damn mind.

It’s nice to win a trophy, but it sounds like that win cost a lot more than it was worth. City might have lost the only player it absolutely couldn’t afford to lose under any circumstances—Fernandinho. The rumor is he will be out for at least a few weeks. If true, I expect City will very quickly drop out of the remaining competitions.

The second person out of the cannon would be Jorginho.

Yeah, he was dreadful. Ironically, his choosing Chelsea

might nevertheless cost City a few trophies, as he was supposed to be Fernandinho’s backup.

I'll admit

I was amazed that Sarri changed it up. He's been so damned stubborn about his lineups and tactics, it was sort of refreshing to see him change them up substantially.

Kepa should be launched from a cannon tomorrow

Pretty sure if it were SAF he would have packed the powder and lit the fuse himself.

It’s astounding

Congrats to City, well earned.

I was both shocked and glad he refused to let Willy come on.

If I were Sarri, he’d never play another game for me.

I see he apologized and explained he did not intend to

refuse being subbed. He says he was just trying to tell Sarri he was not injured. I suppose if Carlos Tevez can be forgiven for accidentally refusing to come into a game (claiming he only intended to refuse to warm up twice), Kepa can be forgiven for accidentally refusing to come out of a game.

Still got fined

And still may be benched for Spurs

As he should be. Misunderstanding or not (I think not),

there must be consequences for refusing a manager’s instruction to get off the pitch.

His apology might be enough to keep me from sacking him altogether, but I sure as hell would punish him for it.
