Milner has played some fantastic football lately. He provides much better defensive cover to allow the fullbacks to go forward. Until Liverpool get their CBs back Thiago is a liability defensively and a yellow waiting to happen. He wasn’t brought in to be an engine like Hendo, Milly or Gini. He’s there to dictate play when Liverpool dominate the ball. For now I’m happy with him as an impact sub. I expect much bigger things next year.
