Never would've guessed that after the first half.
Acosta spent the entire match letting them know he was paying attention to it.
Referee knew it, too. That’s why Acosta hasn’t seen two yellows.
Letting those little pieces of shit know someone was watching.
Fuck concacaf.
And clearly he enjoyed it as well.
Even as we won two cups this summer, there were troubling signs. Most importantly, we couldn’t score from open play to save our lives. What we’ve seen this past week is not an aberration. It’s a continuation of the same issues that have plagued us throughout Berhalter’s tenure. Dog shit performances against mediocre competition papered over with a few set piece goals. It won’t get better while he’s in charge, and we don’t have time to waste.
That was an awful first half. Zero shots I believe right?
Unlike the Canada match, Berhalter acted quickly and it worked.
That adjustment felt more akin to what they did against Mexico in both finals where it felt like we were the better team in both second halves.
Berhalter needs to switch to the 4-3-3, and replace Sands, McKenzie and Bello with Yedlin, Antonee Robinson and Aaronson, slide Adams into central midfield.#USMNT

No matter what the #USMNT does the rest of the way tonight, Gregg Berhalter's first comment after the match needs to be "I got the lineup & formation completely wrong at the start."

We'll see if that can be followed by "But we got it together and pulled out the win" after it.
And Pepi won't get credit for anything on that equalizer, but he won the ball in the fringe midfield, got it to Pulisic in space, and then got back up into the play to be the first man in the box to draw the defender and at least some of the keeper's concentration.
Something like if you have a goal and an assist in your first cap you can't change teams.
I mean, I'll allow it in this case, but is that officially counted as an assist?
