Ricardo Pepi to Wolfsburg…

A poor choice imo. Wolfsburg are a mess and there’s two other senior #9s on the roster.
Wolfsburg are pushing to sign Ricardo Pepi. Bundesliga is the most likely destination for the USMT talent, as anticipated today ⤵️🌟 #Wolfsburg

There’s still no full agreement with Dallas FC but negotiations are advanced. Work in progress after many clubs showing interest. #MLS https://twitter.com/fabrizioromano/status/1475151436606545923

Quite the development
EXCL: USMNT star Ricardo Pepi is set to join FC Augsburg on a permanent move from FC Dallas, here we go! 🚨🇺🇸 #MLS #Pepi

German sources tell me of MLS and club record fee: $20m plus add ons. Pepi & his agent are now flying to Munich.

Pepi will undergo medical tests on Sunday. https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1477412707594739713/photo/1

A Gnabry transfer. Definitely smells.

Also the partial American owner of Augsburg. But yeah, Gnabry deal likely.

Sounds like this may have been a case where the American investor in Augsburg just funded the deal.

Still crazy, though, for them to make this their biggest buy in their history.

Gnabry deal was a bit different

They did it to keep Arsenal from thinking that Bayern wanted him, kept the price down and it benefitted Bremen.

Guessing this may be similar in that for a little 'help', Bayern gets first crack in a year or two and Augsburg gets to pull a possible profit.

Because this is their largest transfer ever.

Better than moving from Bremen to Norwich

Poor Sargent just can't get a worthy team.

I was about to say, "But isn't Wolfsburg in the Champions

Guessing he'll sub and play as a second/wide at times.
