- Mercado feeds Wingate in stride, who goes short side.

- Albert to Van Zanten, who pulls a spin move to get open and blasts one from the 18 to the left corner. Well-done.

Put BC down and, hopefully, away.

Final Score: ND 3, BC 0. *

The team hasn't dominated like its first 7 games, but this is ACC play. BC has some players and wanted to take it to ND.

The players weathered BC's pressure with quick, accurate passes. They played more through the middle this game than the usual "over the top" to Wingate, yet they threw in some of those, also. We also hope for better finishes to the team's build up.

These games are so much fun to watch. Exciting soccer from two high energy teams.

Pace Was Consistently Good.

Was impressed by consistent triangulation (and more) by both teams, many of which were on first touches.

Even though ND had this in hand, Korbin Albert and Eva Gaetino don't come off the field (Hudson and Wingate had all of five minutes off), which tells you who Coach Norman wants on that field.

I'm really interested to see where Lynch ends up playing if and when she comes back. There's a middie slot which has a pretty consistent rotation if he wants to slot her alongside Albert and Van Zanten. Or does he put Lynch up front and move Mercado back a bit?

9-2. Keep it going.
