The lack of true pot 1 team, locking up the group before Turkey, followed by Bosnia in R32… all made for a really nice ride. The trade-off is we weren’t ready for a team of Belgium’s form at kick-off today.

We seemed to be getting a little bit in rhythm in the last 15 minutes, in spots. Maybe there’s something there Poch can build on in the locker room.

We’re also fortunate not to be down by two goals. And Belgium has some quality subs to come in around minutes 60-75 if they need them.
