It just seems to me that it’s as simple as America’s best athletes simply don’t play soccer. They play football, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, baseball, etc. And save lacrosse all of them pay more than American professional soccer.

I know this isn’t a smart thought.

But it’s true. Soccer is probably the last sport that great athletes play in the U.S. That is not true for Europe.
