What does anyone know about ND defender Gabi Poretto?

Known so far:
She is a sophomore transfer from Kentucky.
She played in all 20 games for Kentucky last year.
As a freshman defender she scored more game winning goals (4) than any other player on Kentucky.
Won SEC freshman of the week for the week of 9/29
Selected for the SEC All Freshman Team.

My daughter has been on futsal teams with her and has trained with her.

I recently heard she took a knock just after she started making an impact in practices.

Sweet kid. It was NOT Kentucky's idea to put her in the portal. Rumor is they made a major push to try to keep her.

She has a major boot.

Fisher Hall introduced her back in June.

The most interesting note is that she scored her goals from the penalty spot which was an interesting role for a freshman to assume.

She was a top 100 hundred recruit.

As a side note, the women's team has begun practicing for the fall season..
