with Northwestern! It has seemed like a long off-season.with anticipation.

Note: Notre Dame in the preseason ACC poll was picked to win the ACC. Also, three players, Izzy Engle, Annabelle Chukwu, and Abby Mills, were chosen to the preseason All ACC team. A lot to live up to this season.

I'll be in town to see the Stanford game Oct. 10 and will most certainly be in the stands for the ND vs. UVA game on Thursday, Oct. 8.

...but on Martha's Vineyard, up-island in Chilmark. My wife retired this summer so we went for 2+ weeks and our granddaughter celebrated her first birthday on island with us.

I did a good job keeping off what screens I had available and read a lot. Then realized collegiate soccer was upon us. Look forward to it.

Not sure why I said Nantucket. Well, no screens are definitely good. Weather was mostly good? All is well here! Not sure if I told you I bought a new house last summer? This summer much of the back is being demolished for a new conservatory and more. It's all very exciting! (and a little frightening.)
