The standard is 15:25 on either an outdoor or indoor track.
Anna missed it by 7 seconds
I hope she is qualified but still has outdoor season to get it. I'd love to root her on in Eugene in July for the trials and I hope bothe her and Anna make it to the NCAA outdoor championships in Eugene in June. With Molly Huddle winning last year for the 10K in Eugene it would be nice to see another good showing by ND girls.
I think rule 2 maybe a problem depending on how the meet was conducted.
If she is not in, I would hope the coach allows her and Anna to run in a meet that meets the rules in the next few months.
The 5000 and 10000 are Olympic events
Also, the fourth-best time run for the event indoors by a collegiate woman, and the current leading time in the NCAA.
... a direct final like the 5? I guess I'm asking if the 3/5 double is viable. Would be fun watching her and Ostrander, and I guess Finn go at it 2x.
As good as Seidel has been running the last 12 months, I might actually be more impressed w/ Rohrer.. she just runs fearlessly, pushing the pace at NCAA XC - making the initial break yesterday. I realize that Ostrader is deserving of the attention she's gotten as a FR (2nd XC, 8:54/15:21) but Rohrer isn't far off (6thXC, and 15:32)... should make for a good rivalry going forward.
