The team manhandled FSU on their floor Friday night 3-1 with Jemma Yeadon being dominant (24 kills, 14 digs, 2 Service aces. She accounted for 26 points ( 38% of ND scoring points). With only 4 sets, the two other eyepopping stats came from Ryan Dejarld with 35 digs and Carolyn Holt with 51 assists. Then this afternoon after losing the first two sets to Miami, ND won the last three with another tremendous effort by Yeadon (20.5 pts/19 Kills/18 Digs) but also all around contributions from the other starters Fry (15.5 pts/8K/2Aces, 8 Blocks), Kuhn (17,5 pts/15K/4B), Nunge (17 pts/17K/4D), Holt (4pts/56 Assists/9D/4B/1A), and Baer (6.5 pts/5K/3B). Also big off the bench were DeJarld (22 D/1A), Johnson (10D/1A) and Cruzado (5D/2 Aces).

It was fun watching the ESPN3 replays of both matches, especially the comeback win at Miami considering they lost to them in 4 sets at home beginning of the ACC season. They have only lost 1 in the last 7 ACC matches after starting with 3 losses. Overall they are16-5. With a strong finish in the last half of the ACC season they may have a chance to get to the NCAA's. 10 more matches to go.

Yes - wins over those 2 could make us the top ACC RPI team.

Pittsburg is top of the league through the first half (9-1) tied with NC State. Louisville is third at 8-2 and was our 1st ACC match this year which we lost in 5 sets. Weds will be a nice revenge match if we win and the Pitt match is the only time we play them this year. NC State was our second ACC match which we also lost in 5 sets, but we get them at ND on Nov 19.

Acc standings are attached

They lost both.

has it's problems being consistent. They could have beat Louisville but blew a 9-2 lead in the first set and for some reason didn't show up in the last set.
