I was wondering about that too...

I saw that the freshman, Riley, started in the outfield in that first game against Seattle. I was surprised not to see the older sister, Ali, in the starting lineup, because she was a big contributor last year. Then I noticed that she was used a couple of times as a pinch runner, so I guess it isn’t due to injury. Maybe she is having a difficult time cracking this year’s lineup? I have a feeling that Coach Gumph has packed the lineup with power hitters this year, but that’s just my speculation without knowing anything.
