Mondo Duplantis soars to new heights in Pole Vault

For those who have not been following this kid, he is creating quite the stir in Track and Field.

Yesterday he won the European Championship in the Pole Vault clearing 6.05 meters (19 10-3/16") on his first attempt becoming 4th on the all time list.

He beat a first class field including Renaud Lavillenie who has the highest vault (done indoors) in history.

The kid is only 18 yo and will start college at LSU this fall.

Based on his clearance at 6.05 shown in the linked video, he should be breaking the world record soon.

I think he will approach 21 feet someday.
