We aren'y gaining ground on Columbia or PSU. Unless we make solid gains in the last 3 rounds, there may not be much hope for tomorrow.
3 points gained on PSU.
This is assuming i am adding correctly.
Down 10, only one round of 4 left (8 total matches) for today.
In exciting fashion. Top seeded Itkin almost gave up a big lead to Harvard's Tourette while Keifer had to stage a huge comeback on Columbia's Kumbla (Kumbla defeated Keifer 5-1 in the roundrobin).
Both bouts were outstanding (Keifer's was once he started winning).
As a team ND closed the day in 3rd at 78, 12 behind Columbia (90). PSU maintained 2nd with 84 and the ND lead over Harvard expanded to 6 (72).
The Womem have some work to do tomorrow and Sunday.
to be outstanding on Saturday and Sunday in order to win the championship. It won't be easy to catch Columbia/Barnard
For lack of a better word.
It is definitely possible, but can't have any let downs.
Also Itkin beat down Kiefer to claim the Foil title.
