Vball sweeps FSU in Tallahassee, now alone in 2nd place at

10-3 in the ACC (17-6 overall). They were tied with FSU and Ga Tech before Friday's matches who both dropped to 9-4. Ga Tech took nationally ranked #5 Pitt to 5 sets, but lost the 5th 15-13 in Atlanta. Pitt still the class of the ACC at 13-0. Louisville who had been 2nd in the ACC until they lost 3 straight matches almost lost their 4th but pulled it out in 5 sets against Miami, last set 17-15, holding off match point. The win puts them also at 9-4, tied for 3rd.

5 matches left including one at Miami Sunday. After that they have a chance to avenge 2 of their 3 ACC losses (Cuse & L'ville) before heading to 3rd place Ga Tech and ending up at home against Duke. Hopefully they keep it up to make the NCAA tourney.
