ACC meet is at the end of the month which ND is favored. Rankings are ridiculous right now in any fall sport except maybe football which still is limited. In Volleyball the ACC has 7 teams ranked in the top 15 (ND highest at #5) when last year's NCAA tourney only 1 ACC team made it to the sweet 16. Half of those teams were from the Pac12 and Big 10, the two best volleyball conferences, who aren't in that ranking.

Cross Country is even worse which has only two of top 15 NCAA championship finishers from 2019 year running this fall #4 Iowa State and #8 Notre Dame. Iowa State's finish had everything to do with having the winner, Edwin Kurgat, who is no longer there. SInce ND still has it senior leader who has won a NC, it seems the only choice they had for that ranking. Pretty silly.

The Grace #1 sign must be run by the Alabama National Championship committee.

If anything, the women have won two meets against more than one other team.

USTFCCCA is not ranking this year, it's a minor poll (link)
