there really isn't since xcountry championship is now scheduled March 21 at Ok State and outdoor T&F is June 9-12 in Eugene in the new Heyward field. The bigger conflict is indoor T&F that is scheduled in Arkansas March 12-13. ND is defendng DMR National Champions for the Indoor meet with Nuguse leading the way which they won in 2019 & last year was cancelled. Maybe they can see it as a training run for xcountry while competing hard, but that certainly makes it complicated.

As for seniors getting another year of eligibility will certainly allow a lot of choices, but they all don't lead to staying at their school. The student is looking for further education/training opportunities while each school looks at competitive talent, continuity with underclassmen/recruits, and ultimately what the school can afford and willing to fund. Nuguse and ND will reveal what their intent as the summer approaches next year along with many other senior NCAA athletes. It is all going to be interesting.
