I am very surprised Columbia women's epee did so poorly. They won 8 out of 30 bouts today.

Minor surprises:
Lauren Scruggs from Harvard, a medal pick, is in 10th.
Maggie Shealy from Brandeis fenced out of her mind today, and was a spoiler for a few higher ranked fencers.

Other than that, everything was pretty much expected.
