Epee able to fight back to end the day with 15 pts

But lost ground to Princeton (18) and Columbia (19).

Foil also had a less than stellar outing finishinv with 19 pts again giving ground to Columbia (23) but making up some against Princeton (15).

Through the first round of Saber the men held even with Columbia (7) and gained more on Princeton (5).

Withbtwo rounds og Saber to go on Day 1 the Irish have 143 pts, up 11 on Columbia (132), 15 on Princeton (128), and 18 in Harvard (125).

losing ground from the lead the women left them, especially at home. Hope they can recover.

Princeton falls to 4th (+21).

Edit: there are only 48 bouts remaining and we have no head to heads remaining with any of the top 3 teams behind us.

Saber ended witj 19 pts, 3rd overall behind Harvard (23) and SJU (20).

Harvard outperformed us in all 3 weapons. The only school to do so.

Individually, we are in 6th and 7th in Saber, 4th and 9th in Foil, 9th and 12th in Epee.
