Was right there until lap+ but didn't seem to have anything left for the bell lap, where the kickers took over. Runners from Wisconsin and Michigan State took 1-2.

Commentators said it was nearly a "race-time" decision to run due to ankle roll suffered after (?) the 10K race. He didn't look bothered by it, but fighting off pain can sap energy, too.

Still, fine performances in both races. He's just a junior, no? So, he's got some year(s) of eligibility.
