ND swept all 6 mens and women's ACC championships.

They got 11 of the 18 medals including the 6 golds. Closest final beetwen an Irish fencer against another ACC fencer was women's foil where 4th seed Soph Nicole Pustilnik had to beat #1 seed UNC fencer Sophia Mandour before taking on #2 seed Duke's Christina Ferrari and winning 15-13.

There were also 5 current ND foilists at the Senior World Cup in Cairo Women: Josephina Conway (86th) and Jane Caufield (88th) Men: Marcello Olivares (27th) Ziyuan Chen (94th) and Chase Emmer (132nd) and one, Ariadna Tucker-Alarcon, who earned Bronze at the Junior European Championships.

Obviously, there were quite a few notable alumni in Cairo, as well: Women: Lee Kiefer (3rd), Stefani Deschner (50th) and Sabrina Massialas (68th) Men: Nick Itkin (9th), Gerek Meinhardt (19th) and Kristjan Archer (55th)
