The men have done their part for the team and have set up the women to clinch it on Sunday. Now they go for individual bragging rights.
Before giving up 3 straight and then closing 5-3 to win 15-6
Epee had some craziness in its first semi.
Not really sure what happened. One fenecer lost his weapon.
Olivares match had a brief delay as he appeared to be cramping in his right quad.
I was watching the scoring and saw a 5 minute timer, which must have been the medical time.
Was ahead 13-11 and gave up 3 straight. Before raking the last two.
He was awarded a point (11th i think) for his opponenet geting a red card.
Luke Linder led the field and will compete for the indivodual Saber title.
Overall ND extended its team lead over Columbia but i am entering a meeting and dont have the exact #s in front of me.
Foil mem are currently in 3rd and 4th (3 way tie with 2nd) so can make it to finals if they show well in rd 5. No head to head matches with 1st or 2nd.
Epee rd 4 had 7 of 8 wins. Still an outside chance of making finals but doubtful.
Believe ND held on to 3rd and 4th.
Epee is not fairing well in round 5 so no shot at a finalist.
Well update team scores one Epee is complete.
