Don't recall how or when I first heard about ticket sales, but I registered at tickets.la28.org back in mid-January. As another poster noted, priority was given to SoCal residents for the first round of sales in March. Good friend has a home out there, but was reluctant to register for the early sale because the committee warned that credit cards used to purchase in the pre-sale had to have local billing addresses. If they didn't, the committee threatened to cancel the deal and not refund the money. His credit cards are still billed to home in Suburban Chicago so he didn't want to take the risk - especially given the high prices.

Then the second round just went down with priority given to VISA card holders - which I didn't get. I got the sense there were multiple assigned "windows" in this round. My window was 48 hours starting Monday afternoon.

I don't know if there will be additional ticketing rounds, but there are indications that there will be.

Applying for tickets are by areas within the venue. We will not get section/row/seat info until much later. We also won't get info on handling the tickets (e.g., resale) until sometime next year.
