Per NDHoopsrecruits, Holmes, a Top 50 recruit whose father graduated from ND is still considering Arizona, Cal, Dayton, and Marquette.

It’s disappointing to see old Midwest Catholic rivals included while ND is on the outside.

Haven't seen them close on any perceived "difference makers" just yet, but there's still time obviously. Someone on Rivals is now predicting that Wesley will commit to ND, for what that's worth. Hope Ayres' departure doesn't negatively affect things.

Elite 8 team had 7 eventual pros.

They've been there 4 years. Recruiting has gotten worse.
Maybe that's why Ayers has departed..... *
