When he plays within the offense. Yes, he can go one
on one, but he is most effective when the other guys
are involved. His nine point run and the guards forcing
Louisville off the three point line was the difference in
the game

I'm thinking more of a couple particular plays

He wasn't just trying to beat one man in front of him off the dribble; he just saw an opening in the defense and attacked with speed. Those are the types of plays where his explosiveness makes him unguardable.

I agree that he can get into trouble trying to do too much by himself, whether that's driving into traffic or launching contested 3s. When the team shares the ball like they did in the second half, it's a beautiful thing and reminiscent of the best Brey teams over the years.
