I know nothing about KSU basketball, so I wondered if this was indeed true.
During the broadcast of their game just a little while ago, mention was made that one year ago at this time they had 2 players and no coaches. That was it. Now, as I type this, they're possibly 8 minutes from going to the Final Four.
Compared to that, we are absolutely stacked for next year.
Why not us?

KState had 2 good pieces coming back Nowell and Massoud.

And Tang was the lead assistant coach at Baylor last year. Tang's positive and energetic approach transformed the mentality of not only the team but also the locals in Manhattan, KS and the student body. They went from maybe 66% full in the arena to toughest ticket in town with sell outs down the stretch. Check out the crowd's response after Tang and KState beat KU earlier this year
