If nobody who has been in the transfer process is left, there are some interesting new entrants.

NDHoopsRecruits reports that the 6'2" PG will visit Notre Dame next week. O'Connell will be a junior next fall.

He's from Long Island. Went to Blair Academy in NJ, same school as Olivia Miles. No doubt they know each other, so he has a good source on being an athlete at Notre Dame.

He started 28 games and played 26 minutes per game last season. 5.2 points per game, solid 1.98:1 assist/turnover ratio.

The Irish can use the depth.
