in an industry that has made the ND product borderline obsolete, for now.

The only two meaningful, actionable fixes are not to try new ideas, but rather, according to most posters here - and common sense -
- replace the current coach at the price of $16M and then hire a great coach.
- upgrade (and retain) the roster by paying the players about $10M more every year

How much time, money and effort should ND's leadership instruct Bevacqua to expend on a product that requires that much dollar investment every year (and not backed by actual basketball revenues or a booster that cares about basketball) to placate a small, flat customer base? Divert capital and other resources away from the golden goose, world-class product line with growth potential and a large, demanding customer base?

Bevacqua is doing nothing different from the past several ADs. The floor just dropped out from underneath ND men's basketball a couple years ago when the industry changed to something ND.
