As well as the playoff win over the Jets in 1969. The franchise’s first home playoff game was also the final football game ever played at Municipal Stadium — the Christmas Day 1971 marathon against Miami, when Jan Stenarud uncharacteristically missed a game-winning FG in the final minute and the Chiefs lost the game in double OT (Miami never had led up until then). If KC had won that game, they’d have hosted Baltimore for the AFC Championship. Instead, their hosting duties were deferred another 47 years.
