He's looked much more like ND 2023 Caleb Williams in the NFL.

When you keep him in the pocket and force him to throw, he may beat you here and there, but will make enough mistakes that you can live with the great throws, especially when he starts to force things.

He still sucks at reading defenses. He still misses reads all the time (and used to make up for it with throws outside the pocket and his legs)

I thought he did a pretty good job

reading the Viking defense this week. The Vikings defense is fairly complex.

He was playing very poorly leading up to the Packers game. The Bears of course launched their coordinator and replaced him with another substandard coordinator and his numbers went up substantially. That makes me think that the Bear's coaching staff is failing to capture his upside.
