But then you watch him play and his ascent through the minor leagues against good pitchers has been consistently good. The only blip was some time lost to the wrist injury, but he picked up where he left off as soon as he came back.

I suspect that's why he wasn't drafted higher.

I'm telling you, he's going to be special. I have the same feeling him walk out the door as we all did when PCA was traded. Thankfully we got a better return than a shitastic half season of Javy f'ing Baez. Sorry going to go vomit again. Every Met fan I know worries is that this will be the next PCA, where we watch him start to shine somewhere else.

I'm curious where he's going to land on the Brewers prospect rankings. I suspect it will be near the top. He's one of those up the middle guys that people like Stearns loves.
