that has become an everyday SS at the ML level. SS play SS. They don’t play CF and 2B. Can they - of course. But their primary position is SS. They’ve played it their whole lives and consider a change an afront.

If Jett is not an everyday SS now he won’t suddenly become one.

Jett is an every day SS

He's just blocked by Francisco Lindor, so he went for position flexibility to get to the bigs. He knew he was blocked at SS.

He was drafted as a SS. He's played the vast majority of his Minor League games at SS, but yes, he's added positional flexibility to continue to move up the ladder. Jett Williams wasn't going to play SS for the New York Mets while Francisco Lindor was in his prime.

If he can play SS in the ML it changes everything! *
