I think he dual served. Football, the NFL, doesn’t lend to such a scenario. I’m pretty sure besides being logistically impossible, that it’s against some drafted rules at this point. Haven’t there been some instances of checking said rules as related to assistant coaches and activation like late in season due to injuries.

Changing topics slightly again: I think Rose was the last player Manager in MLB. Ha! That would have been after that crazy Braves-Padres game where they kicked out “acting managers” of both teams. That was wild.
