something along the lines of, "the analytics don't tell me if Aaron Donald is playing 3 technique on that play."

Basically, I agree that there is substantial value, but taking game situation, who you are as a team (strengths and weaknesses) as well as who your oponnent is as a defensive unit is much more important and valuable.
