Rules question- in the college game there is no requirement by Carlos Huerta

to get "a touch" in the box like I've seen in youth and high school games, correct? I realize the presence of the shot clock in college would be the reason for this difference and I do prefer the way college games flow compared to some high school games I've seen that have multiple three minute possessions but watching this weekend I wondered would the college game be better if say there was a rule that the ball must remain in the box for the last 20 seconds of the shot clock to try and incentivize more action early in these set offenses?

I admit my lacrosse knowledge is pretty limited- is that some kind of radical suggestion that doesn't give offenses enough time to operate or increase the pace of play to a point midfielders couldn't handle?
