Experienced attorney wants to relocate by alphadog

I'm a member of the ND MBA class of 1985. I'm an experienced civil litigator (significant trial experience) practicing in the Detroit Metro Area as litigation counsel at Detroit Metro Airport. In August 2011, I took a sabatical from law practice and enrolled in Northwestern University Law School's Graduate Tax Program. I received an LLM in tax law this past May. I made this significant investment in order to shift my practice towards the commercial/corporate law fields. Tax and corporate litigation in particular. My son, a member of the Notre Dame class of 2011 (finance & math), doesn't plan on returning to the Detroit area so there is no particular reason for me to remain in this area. I'm particularly interested in Chicago or all areas of Texas. However, I'm open to relocating to anywhere in the US if the right opportunity presents itself. I'm open to any reasonable employment relationship including contract work. My primary objective is to practice commercial law so I'm very flexible regarding the nature of the employment relationship. If anyone would like to discuss this with me further, I'd be glad to forward a copy of my resume. Go ND. Herman Petzold
