NYC: Software Support Specialist - Financial Software by Shifty


We are looking for a software support analyst for our New York office, to field, analyze and resolve customer issues.
The candidate would be on a six month contract period; renewal or elevation to full-time dependent upon performance.

Responsibilities
- Be able to learn and develop expertise on our software products
- Be able to handle customer issues and provide solutions at a reasonable timeframe
- Be able to take a lead or support role in customer implementations
- Able to perform under pressure

Education
- Bachelor's Degree holder in Computer Science or related

Skills
- Knowledge in the Eximbills client/server software, highly preferable
- Knowledge in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Sybase)
- Experience with International Banking and/or Trade Finance business from within the banking arena a plus
- Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
