In theory, makes sense. This guy is abusing it. by Queensman

An employee may fear retaliation if he or she files the NLRB complaint. Of course, that retaliation would also be illegal but it could still deter someone. Therefore, having an advocate file on your behalf would make sense.

However, the person making the claim should have some sort of probable cause that he has become aware of a violation directly from someone at the organization. For all we know, absolutely no student-athletes at ND even want this.

Some bored guy in his basement could get drunk and decide to spend his night overwhelming the NLRB system.
